a/c compressor

sounds like the a/c compressor is startin' to squeel on my girlfriends 97 RS 3.8.. Anyone know if theres a way to fix it without replacing the whole unit??

can't you get it re-oiled before it burns up? welcome back btw.

i dont know.. i've always just pulled the a/c componants off.. But because she likes it, and her a/c still works, she wants it fixed.. but that compressor looks like its a bitch to change, and its DaMn expensive..

i think they can be rebuilt as well

the front pully assembly is basicly just a clutch assembly, if thats all that has failed, then it can be replaced.
