dash won't light up..

well, I just installed my autometer tach w/ shift light & I was trying to hook up the illumination wire (white) to fuse #13 (dash illumination/iso). I used a fuse tap/adapter which enables you to make 2 slots out of one so I could run an extra fuse for the tach (I used a 2amp fuse).. well, the tach didn't light up & now my dash doesn't light up neither :mad: I'm new to wiring.. so any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

you may not have enough power running off that wire

you mighth have blown a fusibule like or fried the dash
