This thread WILL be civilized! I am not going to start a war like i did with the "4 more years thread" so state your opinion about the car, and not about anyone! So now that you have read that let the Bashing (on the car) BEGIN!

The new concept-E looks like a fat blody tampon! I am glad thoug that Mitsu brought back the AWD, it still loks like ass. I am though dissapointed in the dual engine idea with the gas in fornt, and electric in back. Call me old fashion, but if i cant smell the gas fumes i dont want it! I would take a 97 talon/ eclipse tsi, gtx any day of the week over this abomination! I hope mitsu keeps this car as a concept and decides to go with some of their concept's they had back in 2000 with the targa eclipse, and similar models. I thought those cars were fuctional works of art, and would of rather had that than a spyder hands down.

I wil post more as more replies "inspire" me to write.

i love the look. especially the glass that runs for the windshield to the back glass. its like a fulltime sunroof. also witht the AWD and 400hp, what more could you ask for? just asking a question though, why do you think that you wont smell the gas. the car will still be run on gas. all you would have to do is punch a little hole near the gas tank and let the fumes come in through the car. and theres you gas smell

Like all concept cars, there is no way the car could possibly go to production like that. First, it is on 20's, which won't be on it during production. Brake calipers wont be painted also. The double engine is an awesome idea and hope that makes it to production, but who knows. The design will also be less drastic in the huge curves and lights and everything

i'd like to see is a 6 cylinder turbo all wheel drive eclipse that is light enough that it able to smoke 8 cylinder cars with ease

looks sorta like that nissan murano. either way, i ain't diggin its looks. big pimpin on dubs-naw it aint happening. performance wise, it looks promising, but like coyote said- a gsx or tsi is a very good choice, fast, good looks, and a world of aftermarket parts. BTW, AWD and 6cyl.... could this be testing grounds for a new 3000gt? the RX8 and 350Z are back, just need a new supra and new 3kgt to complete the class.

So far it seem slike people just dont give a crap. Why is this? is it because you would never consider buying one or somthing?

yes...the e does look like ass. the awd is bullshit. the rear is powered by an electric motor sending some 80 horsepower or some crap like that to the rear wheels when traction is needed. funk that...mitsu needs to bring back a vr4 type car. the 3g is great but it has so many issues with mitsu cutting corners (crappy rotors, sloppy shifter, low quality cast wheels, cast pistons...the list goes on...) and it has NO F-CKING AFTERMARKET. screw RIPP...their sds is so damn buggy...it was a good effort mitsu, but maybe next time.

Just out of curiosity, with the electric motor in the rear, wouldnt it be really hard to mod the engine to the rear wheels wouldnt just be dragging?

i have no clue whatsoever, i only know about what i have read in magazines so far. apparently it cant be that hard b/c subaru is whipping up a production car with a similar rear-electric-motor-awd. only subaru's uses a hybrid gas/electric engine in addition to the rear electric engine also.

i dont exactly know what kind of mods you can do to an electric engine. no intake, no exhaust, no pistons. maybe get a bigger battery pack?
