do not use that on a Honda.or any car for that matter.
it's not worth the price to fuck up your engine.

i have used them in my rex, one they are worth the money, i definatly noticed a difference in acceleration and gas mileage, plus they are able to last over 100k miles not just 60k like ngk or other plugs. i love them and as long as my car runs fine with em, i aint gonna switch.

What car you put em on? I got em on mine, and ive had no problems. Car starts alot cleaner and acceleration is a bit better.

I was always said not to put those plugs in a Honda and to just use the NGK's. maybe it works for some of you but I would just stay safe and don't use them.

I got sucked into the marketing vortex and tried 'em in my '98 Prelude SH. I didn't notice one whit of difference in power (butt-dyno or G-tech), or in mileage (I keep careful records). I pulled them after about 3000 miles, and one insulator was breaking loose from it's metal shell. I was disgusted. :(

I threw them all back in their box where they sit undisturbed on my garage shelf to this day. I gapped and re-installed the stock NGK platinums, and have been happy ever since.

that is part of the answer,my father put some on his Bronco and a little bit later, one cylinder was down on compression,I put those on a Neon and after 2 weeks the car ran like shit, put the ones recommended by the manufacturer and it ran good, same for a Dodge Ram I worked on.
And I also put Bosch plugs on a Mercedes, and it ran worse than before the tune up,changed the plugs to Ngk and it ran like a new car.

Sorry for the long post, that's all I got to say:)

Honda Techs at the shop will tell you NOT to use them...NGK works best. HondaGuruTX & a fellow VTECer (coworker) have used them & feel the motor not run right. but a DSM buddy uses it on his Talon TSi & swears by it.

i wanna try those racing 'halo' plugs, something like $100 a piece w/ my 500 shot N2O

most of you guys noticed gains with them prolly cuz you replaced a set of old, worn out plugs with them... of course ANY plug will work wonders compared to dead plugs.

i have seen them run and the motors end up with a hesitation problem.

Are you talking about these? http://www.haloplug.com/

$6.95 each - and I'm extremely doubtful of their claims.

the Halos i'm talkin about look like those, but it's the 1s that F1 & CART drivers use...& yes, 500 shot; that last line was a joke.

OK, I'm going to reply to the original question, if a bit late. When I got my 87 Accord, I put some +4's in; that was at 243,000mi. At 295k, I pulled them, which was two years later; this was three weeks ago. They have little to no carbon buildup, and were in fairly good shape, given the mileage put on the car, and the driving I do with it. I feed the car 93 octane, use Valvoline VR1 20w50. The combination works.

I put NGK V-powers in as replacements. I noticed no difference. A week later, I pulled the NGK's and put another set of +4's in. Felt no difference in speed or gas mileage. The idle on the +4's was smoother, as was the acceleration curve. I did notice the slight hesitation on the +4's as mentioned earlier; this was on the old pair, but did not start happening until they were in for about 35,000mi. I suspect it was from their "newness" wearing off.

Food for thought.
