16” and 17” Wheels

Other than looking mighty cool, does upgrading to larger wheels serve
any real purpose? Hard to justify spending at least a grand just for
looks, for me at least.

Since Elantra's are not sports cars there is no real benefit other than for looks in getting larger wheels. Sure you may get better traction, but this isn't a race car and any benefits will be nominal.
