ok i was wondering what would be a decent price to have someone pull the dents out of my 92 hatch, i dont want to be overcharged by someone just to have unsat work done. i dont have any huge dents but i have 2 noticeable ones on the passenger door. as far as paint and prep how much is a good price for a good factory paint job for my hatch keeping it the same color but painting the full car and kit. i live in the fayetteville north carolina area but am relocating to killeen texas here in a month and a half. any advice as to what would be a good price for paint and prep. i am not considering a bit maaco, peaches or backyard paint shops. any help would be nice cause this is the first car being done correctly:jump3:

DUDE do it yourself its not hard
if you have any brains (im sure you do) you would figure how bondo works.
on the painting part just make sure its clean and spray with a 50% overlap DO NOT use too much paint its better to spray 3 thin coats then 1 thick coat.
when your done painting colorsand and polish it
to do that wet sand the car down with 1500 grit paper then take a buffer and polish and buff it youll prolly end up with a nicer finish than you expect
tho you might want to practice a bit first

Bondo is absolute crap, don't use bondo. I applaud you for wanting to get the work done the right way, whether you are able to do it yourself or have to pay. If the dents arn't very big, you might be able to have a paintless dent remove person remove them. It's hard to tell though, as none of us are there to see the car. If the dents can't be pulled, a good body shop will install a new outer door skin. Should cost around $1500 total and completed.
Another option is to try and find a door from a junkyard car that was the same color. You can remove your dented door and re-install the new door. A new door from a junkyard shouldn't cost more than $300.
It's really hard to tell exactly what needs to be done, as we are not able to look at the car to see how bad the dents are and what needs to be done. If you have any pictures of it (or a digicam), post them.
www.car-part.com is a good place to start for used car parts (like doors).
