Yes there is. In 94-95(6?) Ford sold the Mustang GTs it was a v6 style Mustang with the GT suspention and drivetrain, just none of the luxory, no fogs, none of the GT only options. it was like the old LX you could get the 5.0 but none of the GT luxories, just the drivetrain.

and IF it is faster its only due to weight lose from the extra options the GT has, Maybe .1?

There's been posts about the GTS Mustang before. Its really nothing special other then a stripped down 95. No power options, no AC, no wing. Just a basic package.

Yup, I remember there being a flame fest over a Highway Patrol model GTS (or something similar).
