ok, i have a little bit of black smoke coming out of my exaust, could it be from not changing the oil? i think she's a lil overdue on a oil change.
also when im driving and i come to a stop sign, she goes from 1000rpms to about 750, then drops to 500, then dips below 500 and almost dies on me, and when im in drive and at a stop light she's shaking like she wants to give out, and she already did give out ONE time.

black smoke sounds more like fuel, sounds like an IAC or a ignition problem. probly the IAC valve.

IAC valve? sorry to sound like a dumbass, but could u please expain more? like what it does and where its located at in the car, also how much would it cost to repair/replace?

idle air control valve; located in the throttle body, allows air to bypass the throttle plate to control the idle speed of the car.

oh, also i gots another problem, my "service engien soon" light come's on while im driving, not really in any pattern, just randomly while im driving, could it be some wires loose? or broken?

no, that means there's a code stored, check for codes and you'll most likely pinpoint your problem. and for christ sake change the oil.

geno is right, clean oil is the lif of your engine, my mom had a 85 z28 she never changed the oil, i think it went like 25,000 miles before its oil was changed and thats sad, it was new too, and around 75,000 miles it started leaking oil, and also had to be rebuilt, and the cyclinder walls cleaned up.

might want to think about oxygen sensors as well--but follow Genopsyde's advice--take the car to Auot Zone and they will run codes for FREE!!! the car's computer WILL tell you whats wrong, most of the time

ya, i noticed that when she tries to die on me, which she's been dieing on me a lot now, that the voltage drops a lot.

ok!! i think i got it figured it out, i called my uncle and i explaind it to him! and he told me that it was the wire caps that goes to the spark plugs, he said that one might have came loose, well i checked it and one snapped in! and i started it up and it seems to run fine! could that have been the problem?

if it fixed it, sounds pretty likely ;) dont really know why it would have done all that, it should have just had a dead miss.

nevermind, it didnt fix my complete problem, altho while checking my spark plugs i did accendtly rip a spark plug wire, so i hadda buy a new set, and i took her to autozone and i got code 43, any idea's what to do?

code 43 - TPS (Throttle position sensor) out of adjustment OR knock sensor signal error OR low voltage at electronic spark timing control.

sounds to me like your TPS is failing from how you explained your symptoms.

how much would it cost to get it fixed?

prices vary depending on where you go and where you live. best way to find out is to make some phone calls.

You might want to look at the brake booster, easy check is to start engine let it idle and press the brake pedal and watch the rpms if it becomes unstable or jumps you have a defective one.It should never change the rpms when you apply the brake, the voltage may drop cause the tail lights coming on ,but not the rpms. The booster is a huge rubber diaphram and if it has a leak, you create a vacuum leak each time you apply the brake pedal. The computer has trouble compensating for it ,so it can adjust the IAC valve properly so most people point towards the IAC right off.
