When ever it rains hard I get water that leaks in to my trunk. Not sure where it is coming in. Is this a common problem or is there just a whole somewhere? It is not leaking in the top because the carpet covering the trunk does not get wet.

I'm betting it is your tail lights...get some silicone sealant and reseal them.

If it isn't this...although I really think it is...check your wheelwells for rust. It maybe coming in there.

I will try that. There is no rust in the wheelwells.

I have the same problem with my 91 LS. There is not a speck of rust and the car has mostly been sitting but collects an obscene amount of water around the spare. If I park on an incline it drains out as though someone has drilled a hole just for that!
I have only had the car for less than 2 weeks. I recently got some great condition tail lights off of ebay for only $40.00 and am getting ready to put them in. I am going to pay extra close attention to any gaps and the whole assembly will be getting silicone. Will keep you posted on my success.

Check the hose that runs from the sunroof to the trunk. This hose takes the water and moves it from the sunroof area down and out the wheelwell.

Also check the gaskets that are behind the tail lights.
