Third Stop Light

Just Purchased A 94 Astro Conversion Handicapped Van, The Third Stop Light Was Burnt Up, So I Replaced It With A New One. The Problem I'm Having Is I Guess The Previous Owner Must Have Taken The Old Wires Out. When I Hooked It Up To The Existing Stop Lights, It Blinks When I Turn On The Directional Signal. Now Is There Some Type Of Control Module For The Third Stop Light? Help!!!!!!!!!!

I would think that your 3rd brake light has a bad ground connection.
