Well at light rpm shifts there is no blue smoke, but the minute i start spooling alot it seems then when i shift i get alot of blue smoke. Only between shifts.

Any Ideas

Thanx Eric

i just rebuilt the turbo friday, maybe it has a bad seal in it? I only put new bearings in it and thrust bearing. I know blue smoke means turbo but i thought since i fixed the shaft play that coulgnt be it. Maybe the rest of the turbo is just worn out. After all its only a T-25 and i ran a 13.7 this year with it. Time to move up bigger to the Big 16g i guess sooner than i thought

Well if its not the turbo, its probably your engine. Oil is getting into your combustion chamber.

Could be: valve stem seals or piston rings.

now would rings only cause the blue smoke in between shifts? cuz thats when it only happens, idleing no smoke, now when i say blue smoke its not just a little it alot of smoke between shifts. The more i boost the more blue smoke in between shifts, or when i come onto it in 5 th gear then let off i get the blue smoke.

Check your spark plug electrode if there is any foul. If its fouled from oil, usually its the rings or valve stem seals.

hmm when my turbo blew, i had completely white smoke...maybe you have a smurf living in your engine lol...i dunno man, it could be the turbo. try buying some of that shit you dump in the gas tank. not too long ago, i had black smoke (well, real dark smoke) coming out and i got some stuff that cleans injectors, exhaust system, etc and no more black smoke...it'd be the cheapest thing to try right now. only a few $ per bottle.

black smoke means incomplete fuel combustion, white smoke is water or coolant in combustion chamber, and blue smoke is burnt oil, as has been mentioned. joemathews is 100% correct.
