Idle Air Control(IAC)

I am having problems with my 93 mitsu mirage 1.5l idling. :screwy: I think it may be the IAC if anyone has ever had a problem like this please let me know. I have also had a problem with too much fuel. I shortned the intake and installed a cold air intake. when i did this it began to have strange cold idles it would rev high then low consecutivley untill the car was warm. once it was warm it would idle fine. I can hear the IAC "working" but im not sure it is actually functioning. Thanks for any help.

my car also experiences a high idle at start up after a long period of not being started. but i don't think it should be anything to worry about. however i now have a bad IAC so i'll see if it still does it when i replace it.
