Installing a remote starter on a 2000 SES Flex Fuel

Please anyone,
I am trying to install a Bulldog Security remote starter (Model RS82P) on my 2000 SES. Installation is going fine until i get to tapping into wires on the GEM (Generic Electronic Module). I am not sure what it looks like so I am guessing it is where the 26 pin connector comes in behind the fuse box. It seems to match up to the wiring chart that Bulldog provides on their website.
One problem is connecting the Factory Alarm Shut Down Wire. There is supposed to be a Pink/White wire that is the factory disarm switch which changes from positive to negative as the key cylinder is turned to unlock with the key. My Pink/White wire is ALWAYS positive; no matter what we do with the key or remote.
Problem two is connecting the Auxiliary Input wire. At this step the manual says to find the door lock wire that tests positive when you press the lock button on the factory remote. The wiring chart says it is a Pink/Yellow wire. This wire is there, but again is ALWAYS positive.
These are the last two things I need connected. Has anyone installed this remote starter on their Taurus? Please help if you have successfully done it.

You can't miss it. It is right to the left of the steering column. Not sure what you are talking about the wires not changing state. How are you testing them and with what? Your doorlock wires should be - triggered. Also, you might not even have an alarm. You need to roll down the window, shut the door and lock it then wait about a minute. Then, open it up from the inside out.

This can be done. I have done plenty of these cars. Oh, what do you plan to do to get around the Securkey system?
