2001 Tracker door handle removal

In order to remove the door trim panel, my manual says to remove the door handle (indicates removing one screw will do the trick). Removing the screw does allow the mandle & its frame to move somewhat but it is obviously still fastened somehow.. I've tried prying, applying force in all lateral directions etc. attempting to loosen whatever still holds it, hasn't worked. It's made of space-age material (plastic), so I'm afraid to apply too much brute force, lest it come loose with that dreaded "snap" we all hate (particularly as the temp. here is below freezing during the day).

Thnx. JH

OK after you take all the screws out all you have to do is push the whole handle unit forword(towards the engine) and then it will pop out. and you can gently turn it sideways to fit it through the hole.
