Another kit i´m still working on right now. It´s one of my favourite Ferrari. :grinyes:

None of Fujimi´s highlights if you ask me, the quality could be much better. But as long as this is the only F355 model, what else can i do ?
The body is nearly finished. A simple black, made with Tamiya´s spray can "TS 14":

Unfortunately, Fujimi made it curbside, but a Ferrari without an engine? :disappoin
So i cut out the engine hood and drilled all venting gaps to open them up completely.

The engine block and gearbox are borrowed from Hasegawa´s 348

Now i have to scratchbuilt the whole air-intake. I took some parts from a Die-Cast, the rest will be self-made.

Here you can see some of the parts already primed and the light modified airboxes.

Yes, i know it´s not really symmetric, but we will see how this works out at the end. :smile:

You're off to a good start!
I can't wait to see how the engine addition turns out.

You're off to a very good start. I like the engine idea, any plans for the interior color?

one has to wonder why such beauties are given mere lipservice in terms of models--oh well, better than not at all. Your build looks good so far--that engine looks like it's gonna be sweet! Forza Ferrari

Thanks, guys! ;)
@SpoonMan
Well, i like it a bit more classical.What would you think of this:

I replaced the plastic gear shifter of the kit with a pinhead.
