300kw 180SX wif standard internals??

i met a guy this week who had an auto 180sx with the CA18DET. He sed he had mainly put a huge turbo in it and dat it did 300kw at the wheels. Wat really got me was that he sed dat he hadnt dunn anything to the tranny to strengthen it.
I didnt know whether to believe him. IS this possible? 300kw with the standard 180sx gearbox, driveline etc?

hmmmm did you see all the shit so you know he wasnt bsing first off? Plus if he doesnt drive the car daily he might be able to prolong with the auto since its not being constantly abused....but im sure at some point it will go down. Are you from the hood??? plz type in english. We have enough emeinems in the world.

ya thats what i was thinking, if the car wasn't used everyday just for the track or the occasional street race night, then he may be able to get that much power from the engine without much internal work

but sooner or later it will fail and when it does i think it will be big, even though the CA18 is a well designed engine it wasn't built for that much power

Seriously, though. I don't know what to tell ya' about the guy with the 180. It will eventually fail; the other posts are right. Make sure you see it for real, though, before you just believe what they tell you.

Im real sure its a daily driver. it was at work, he drives it to work everyday

i don't know what ur asking... 300KW sure with stock trany and driveshaft, sure. but injectors turbo, piping, ECU........stock....HELL NO!!!
