99 4 Runner check engine Light code # P0770

last month the light came on took it to toyota charged me 75.00

to tell me it was a malfunction... what does the code P0770 mean

now the light is back on hummmm any help would be great

Check your transmission fluid for color and smell. If it is not really nasty, flush your tranmission with new fluid.

it's a transmission code for sure, usually they reset the computer, then a few months go bye, and so does your transmission.
