I bought a tachometer for my 1995 S-10 and first I tried installing it, and I couldn't. So then a took it to a mechanic, and he said he needed to know where the tach lead was. Does anyone know where the tach lead is for a 4 cyl. S-10?

Your mechanic should have access to a shop manual, which should have all the wiring diagrams in it.
You can also look it up at the library.
The complete job shouldn't take you an hour and it's pretty simple using only very basic hand tools. You probably don't have to hire any one to do it.
Sorry I can't help you more, I just don't have a shop manual for that year.
