Airbag code 52

I installed a remote start unit into my crown vic and in doing so I removed the 10 amp fuse under the dash that powers the airbag control module. (Fuse location #10) anyway when I had finished my installation I put the fuse back in and I got this code 52. Which after some searching found that it is back-up power supply-voltage boost fault. I am at a loss to figure out how to correct it! Ford dealer would like $89 to tell me whats wrong! I would like to find out how to reset this fault without that expense. any thoughts???? :banghead:

i think you have to use a diagnostic machine to clear that code,as well as abs codes.

try leaving the battery unhooked for a while.if that dont fix it your going to be at the dealership anyways getting your trouble codes cleared.your car has two types of codes,codes that can be reset by unhooking the battery,and codes that have to be cleared by a profesional.
