Over here in texas they are white but they go to their knees!!! LOL! Look like lil boys in one of daddys tshirts, ready for bed! I dunno if it's a fad....but I am glad I don't have kids.....

could be gang related depending on your area. I know where I'm at for college there is a "white tshirt gang" that is usually around. By a group of people wearing the same thing it shows they tend to want to be with those other people kinda like a gang.

I think the pink shirts are gay... but white tees are cool. They look fresh and they're cheap! I just buy packs of them, wear a shirt twice and throw it away (or save it to wear under shirts). Cause they only look good new.

Believe it or not, the pink colors is "supposed" to be an off-shoot gang of the Bloods (which where red and black), atleast thats what a couple cop buds told me. Like everything else, it became a trend-like them g-unit vests, straight brim hats, beads etc.

Here in Los Angeles, pink is supposed to be a crip color but everyone else wears them anyways, I wouldnt wear a pink-t, but a white-T is a different story. I am speechless. I can not believe no one knows where the pink fad came from.
In early 2002 a Hip Hop artist named camron wore a pink mink coat to an award show. It was the first time a grown man (especially in his profesion) wore pink in public. Because of the attention it got he often wore it with a fitted hat to match. Later in 2002, he was featured on the cover of "The Source" magazine wearing a denim jean outfit with the Pink Panther airbrushed on it. Pink Panther was also airbrushed on his tims (tims=Timberland boots) This also helped the airbrushed clothes fashion come back.
As for the size. The shirts have always been huge. Look at any Hip Hop video, the shirts are usauly white, but still oversized. You don't notice it because you don't realy look at them. Now if you see a grown man wearing a pink shirt, then you notice him.
As for the people who said it was gang related. That is the stupidist thing I've ever heard. I can see that almost none of you are hip hop fans or even grew up in an unforgiving neiborhood. No gang worth it's salt would use pink as it's primary color. There might be a gang that alows its members to wear pink, but that would not be the gangs color.
