This is my first drawing since a long time. I am 15, and love to draw cars. I'm starting to draw them now, alot. I stopped drawing them for a while. The pic is of a gtr i drew recently. I don't know whether it looks good, that's why I'm asking. Sorry about the pic being so small. The quality of the pic in real life is better.

Looks good from what I can see, but it needs to be bigger if you want desent critique.

this is a bigger pic of the car, but it doesn't look near as good as the actual drawing. The real drawing is more sharp.

Well, it looks good, Except:

It don't look like a GTR. sorry, but you would pass it off as a civic, cuz that's what I thought it was. The lights need to be more square-ish. The light curves too much., it looks liek a civic light. Fix those and you have a fine GTR. may I ask If you can post the referance pic?

Thanks HighOctaneNOSUser, you're exactly right,I'll have to work on proportion, and I didn't have alot of light when I drew this pic. Next time ill work somewhere with alot of light.

See, the left light curves at the bottom. other than that, it looks good.

Looks great, except for the lights that were already mentioned.

Looks good D2K....but let me give you some pointers:
1. The roof is too high and too narrow in comparison to the original.
2. Are those signal lights you didn't include in your drawing???
3. The front grille (between the headlights) is too big in comparison.
4. The billet grille needs to be a little more refined...watch out for the perspective lines (the billet looks like is going up too high on the right side of the car.
well that and the headlight already mentioned above.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for all the pointers chevelle, I'll be sure to take them into account on the next car I draw. Thanks and I'll keep up the good work. BTW, do you know if there are any tutorials on proportion? Thanks, help would be much appreciated.

There are tutorials on proportions in the Tutorial Thread, It is stickyd in the Sketching and Drawing Forum. I also think this should have gone in the Competed & In Progress Sub-Forum.

i haven't posted here in a long time.

skyline looks cool. it reminds me of the movie "heavy metal." the style of it is very funky. it has an urban hipster look to it. i love it.
