door ajar light

The door ajar light and or alarm goes off intermittently on my 94 Aerostar. Took it throught the car wash the other day and couldn't get the alarm to shut off at all. Yes, of course I opened and closed all doors more than once. The next morning, alarm sounded for a few minutes then stopped.
Is there a way to disconnect the alarm and/or light?
