I had progressive once. I remember not payin a monthly payment. I just waited until the next month to pay it (thats 2 months payment total). Try calling them and see if you can get an extension. Its better than just not payin them and leaving them in the dark. Good luck with the job hunt.

I have Progressive too, they're pretty good about it as long as it's not time for a renewal on your policy. Best of luck on the job hunt.

Hope you find a new job soon. $250/month sounds like a lot, try taking collision off or something, especially if you drive something older

Man, progressive is expensive. I was paying $229.00 a month and that was basic coverage. I think I had only glass covered!

Doubtful. My record was clean as a whistle when I signed up with progressive. I got USAA now. So much cheaper.

So what finally happened and what the hell is on your driving abstract? The last guy that I knew that paid that much had led the cops on high-speed chases, and had many violations.

D'oh! I knew that! I was just sayin..
Boat? Never been on a boat. I'm one the few lucky land sailors. Naples and Rota have been my 2 commands so far. The only ship I ever seen with my own 2 eyes was the decommishioned USS Entriped as I was walking out of a NYC club at high noon. And thats the only ship I will ever see cause I got one year left in Rota till I seperate.

Well, i'm 23 and this january it'sd gonna be 3 years i have my license. Thats why they charge so much, because i'm under the 3 year mark. I had 2 minor accidents also-one was just a small bump, but the other is when i slid on black ice, and caused $2000 property damage because i knocked down a "30 MPH" sign.. That sign cost 2g's.. damn. Anyway, once this january comes, they are gonna drop my payments much lower, probably to like $130 a month.
I have a 6 month plan, which costs $1200.

Yeah man. Thinking back to all the signs I stole as teen that had gone wasted on bedroom walls and such. I could almost shed a tear over all the potential money I've lost.

Lol gotti.. No man, my cars was literally fishhooked on the sign. The big 30MPH piece was like 20ft away, but the metal stem cut into my oil pan, and was INSIDE it. I tried to move my car, then i hear WOOOP WOOOP.. The cop thought i was drunk..which i wasn't, i even told him to give me a breathe test. I came off a 13 hour shift, and basically hit my breaks to hard (new boots, big soles) and slid right on the sidewalk. It was a big sign. Not one of those normal street signs, it was like 15 ft high or some shit.

haha suckers!!! No its not a classic yet. my truck is $40 a month lol. and its a 79. insurance is cheap here because the only time there really is alot of accidents is during the winter, when there is 5 feet of snow everywhere, and the roads work as a pinball machine.

Wow I haven't figured it out but i pay 3k every six months.Thats 6k a year. But my car was in 2 accidents with my mom and 2 with me. Thats under my mom's policy.

^ WickedNYCowboy, 6k a yr :eek7: ... is that a multi-car rate?, please tell me you have other expensive vehicles on the policy besides the 99 Camry.. that is unless your mom has a very BAD Driving record. My buddy's Sister had a DUI and she pays over $3,300 a yr full coverage on a 00' Saturn..
What was the amount of damage for the 2 accidents you were involved in, that would make a difference as well.
