driver window and driver seat issue

I have intermittent power window on driver side moving a millimeter at a time and Also the same issue with my driver side power seat on drivers side. Both started happening at the same time. No other electrical problems, wiring harness between door and door sill are fine. I'm sure its a relay/switch/wiring but where should I start checking? Does the power route through seat before window or the window 1st. Could a bad switch in seat cause power issues in window too? please help
