I posted earlier but did not explain my problem and what we have done well enough (sorry, I was not sure of the tech. name for everything)
My 95 Eddie Baur is slipping and shifting irratically. The speedometer is also acting irratic (bouncing, bottoming to zero and spiking really high) Anytime you let off the gas the speedometer will drop to zero until you hit the gas again, that is when the shifting problem happens (it acts like its in N until you hit the gas hard or manually shift to 2nd on column then it will catch). We have changed intermediate and OD selenoids, trans fluid and filter, speed sensor and drive gear, abs speed sensor, repaired wiring harness plug to sensor, replaced instrument cluster, and PCM. Nothing has worked and no one (even ford mechanics) can identify the problem for us.
PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

it sounds like the trans has worn clutch packs. unfortunetly, it is time for a rebuild. you should get
some kind of trans code. did you have the codes read?
