egr

Please help me!!! Iam going to replace my egr unit and need to know if anybody has any tips I will need that will help me in the process. More tips the better.

Are you sure the EGR is bad? I used a Mity Vac on my Maxima and the diaphram worked fine. I removed the EGR components and cleaned them out including a 40 buck tube dealer said had to be replaced. Cost me 21 dollars for gaskets from Nissan but the EGR now works flawlessly.
