tire size help please

I have a set of 4 185/70/14 cooper tires are these too skinny for a 97 jetta GL it has 195/60/r14 on now.

your thoughts Boschmann anyone ??

I'm sure they would fit. They might be a little taller overall resulting in actual speed a little more than speedo indicates. Perhaps a slight performance loss at they have a taller sidewall & are (obviously) skinnier.
