Ej20 from Nippon Motors

I am thinking of getting a WRX motor and putting it in a 98 2.5 RS and putting a stage 2 turbo on it right off the bat. I recently found out about Nippon Motors (http://www.nippon-motors.com) and I was amazed by the prices on ej20s. However I found 3 different types of motors, an ej20, ej20t, and an ej20tt. I have heard from friends that the tt is only in japan. but I had never heard of a nonturbo ej20. Does anybody know if one does exist and if so, would it be worth it to put the 200 dollars saved on the nonturbo engine towards the stage 2 turbo. Or is the compression ratio different on the ej20?
Also.. Why are these engines so unbelievably cheap? anybody know?

Subaru has had an N/A 2.0 L EJ motor for quite a while, just not in the US market. I know it's the "GX" model in the UK.
I'm also pretty sure it's distinct from the turbo EJ20, and they should not be treated as interchangeable.
The twin turbo EJ20 is from the JDM Legacy.
Why there's so cheap? Yeah.... You get what you pay for? :dunno: ask around and do some google searches to find reviews...
