I here alot of people bragging about having lots and lots of points on the car, but don't the upgrades stop coming after 120k? Or is there some super secret upgrade way up in the points I've never heard of. Mind you, I only play like once every 2 weeks, so I don't really have time to find out on my own. I have a SilEighty with like 90k points, and a EVO III with like 8k points, so you can kind of tell how devoted I am to the game... :grinno:

120k is basic tune - meaning you get all your option parts and upgrades unique to that car (i.e. turbo in the levin, new engine in the trueno, etc...)
990k is full tune - after this no more upgrades come. so even if you have 10,000,000 points it won't do shit. full tune helps achieve a higher top-end, better acceleration, better handling, etc...
the difference between full tune and stock is around 2-3 seconds. meaning that if you run a stock evoiv down irohazaka and manage a 3'04 you could probably get a 3'01 with a full tune one.

yeah well I'm really freaking lazy, so I'm not getting 990k. Screw that. I only have 90k on my SilEighty, and I think I'll be happy with 120k one day. Considering I play maybe once every 2 weeks. Ohh yeah, what does "Up Stress Resistance" mean. I'm not some auto illiterate newb, I mean I just did all the suspension work on my own car (a Volvo none the less), that shit just doesn't make any sense
"Up Stress Resistance" WTF?

120k - 990k is ALL about improving various things on your car. top-speed, acceleration, hit recovery, handling, etc... those upgrades really don't directly tie into their effect though, at least I don't think so.
