Hello,
I need to urgently change tires of my car (badly worn out on one side due to bad alignment). There is a retailer that has provided a good deal. The tires are Bridgestone Geostar. I tried to look up the web but did not find any tire of this model. Even on the Bridgestone website, I could not locate any information. I am wondering if these tires were discontinued and are not available at any retailers. I own a Saturn 1996 SL2 and the tire are of the spec 185-60-15. Any pointers/help/suggestions for tire brands will be appreciated.

Thanks
Vinay

I don't list any Bridgestone Geostar model. That must be a store specific model of some kind. It's not in the normal Bridgestone lineup. A 185-60-15 is also the wrong size for the SL2. They would be too short in O.D. and load rating for the Saturn anyway. Even if run at the maximum air pressure, those are going to be overloaded and unsafe. It's too small of a tire :disappoin . I'm amazed a shop would even suggest going that small on the car. I'd look at the Bridgestone Potenza G009 ($54.00 or our website) in the correct 185/65-16 size for the car. Another good choice would be the Kumho Ecsta HP4 716 at $41.00. You can check them out here:
