Does it matter which water pump is used?

For my '94 GMC S15 Jimmy 4.3L V6 AT 2WD w/AC 113k miles, there are a number of choices for the water pump. Everything from a rebuilt for $20 to the OEM for $70+. Anyone have any thoughts on water pump selection? I would like one that lasts for several years if possible.

A good rebuilt one will be fine.

I'm going for the "A1 Cardone Part # 58320P w/o threaded outlet optional performance pump; optional performance pump includes new hub and bearing" Sounds good to me!

rockauto.com has the part for $37.79 (but then they stick you for S&H)

Get one from your local NAPA, or AutoZone.

That way you have a warranty to sick on them if it goes bad.
