Blown b18 block

I have an integra with a blown block. There's this big hole on the face of it. You can literally see the crank-shaft. The engine was ran with pretty much no oil in it after this happened. I'm just wondering if this would affect my 5 speed tranny at all. I know it would hurt my VTEC head (valve's, camshaft's, ect.). But what exactly would it do?

Buy yourself a Helm's manual and take your head off. Check the valves for chips/dents/whatever just in case parts of the block flipped up into the combustion chamber.. Your tranny should be fine, there is no way a blown engine could have hurt your tranny that I know of. Take the tranny off though, and you can buy a new block for like $600. Since it will be the same block as before, it will be an easy plug and play swap. If you don't have an engine hoist, I'd use a nice 2,000+lb lift and a buddy to keep it in place while you bolt the new one in.
