- My rear hatch cover doesn't clip into anything, so every now and then when i open the trunk it comes flying up...are there supposed to be clips on the car or does it just set in there??
- Does the stock security system cut fuel or anything mechanical...cuz it sounds off when i open the hood or driver door, but not the passenger door (retarded) so anyone could come in my passenger door if they wanted. Also once it's sounding, I can't turn it off unless I unhook the battery. My key doesnt go into the door, it's like the lock is blocked inside, the key only works in the trunk, anyone elses like that?
-My foglight bulbs are blown, mis-aimed, and the screws are stuck solid on there, and now stripped, any suggestions?
ehhh that's it.

Yeah, my hatch cover does the same when I open the trunk fast. So I just hold on the trunk when I open it so that the cover doesn't go flying all over the place.
About your alarm not going off when you open the passenger door, I think it's your trigger that's old. If you open the passenger door and then set the alarm by holding onto the trigger and letting it go, then I think it'll go off. Because my passenger door trigger is old too and doesn't sound off my alarm all the time. My driver side used to be like that too but then I think when me and my friend was trying to install the alarm, we unscrewed the trigger and I think it loosened some "stuff" that was making it not work properly--rust maybe, I dunno. But yeah, I've been trying to unscrew my passenger side as well but haven't had any luck so far.
Oh, and what do you mean you can't put your key in the hole? How do you get in the car then? Hmm....are both sides like that?

- So the passenger is supposed to have a trigger? the driverside trigger was worn, but i took that out and bent the metal contact so it contacted better or w/e...ill have to try doing the passenger side.
- I use the remote to unlock and lock the doors, the key works only in the trunk keyhole, it goes about halfway in and stops in both the doors. the guy that i bought it from said something about he could make it so that i could use the keys (because he didnt have the remote at the time) but I wanted the remote so i told him not to.

the rear hatch cover, you mean the thing that you can pull out and cover so you can hide what's in your hatch? yes there should be 2 clips on the hatch part itself it clips to.

Yeah, there are clips there but they don't work very well. Mine always come off too.
Technical_Automan, I was assuming that you were talking about the stock security feature on your GT. If your car came with remote keyless entry already that wasn't aftermarket then what I've been telling you might be wrong. My '94 SL had a security feature built into it but it wasn't keyless. I had to install an aftermarket Viper alarm for the keyless entry feature and haven't used the stock security thing since (although I did accidently set it off one night in the parking lot when I was testing it out :p). So yeah, sorry if I gave you the wrong info. I say take the car back and have the guy fix the key holes for you. Because if something happens to your remote, then you might not be able to get in your car anymore....and that will definitely be a sad day.... :(

Well i can always use the key to climb through the trunk lol. The dealer that I bought it from is out of business now, but I can always buy a remote from Ebay (which is how I got the remote I have now, b/c the one he gave me didnt work). But you didn't give me any wrong info Slade, my passenger side door trigger is worn the same way the driver was so I just need to bend the metal the way I did the driver side. I'm gonna have to go to the dealer to see if I can buy those clips b/c that cover is annoying when it fly's up.

My alarm is starting to sound now when I unlock the driver's side door, putting the key in it. Not really the same problem but ya know. I just have to get a remote.
