How many klms before your first major service

I have a question for all new Diablo owners. How many miles/klms did you do before you first had to spend $$££ on major repairs? The reason why I ask is that I've seen a 2000 VT thats done nearly 40K klms, Should I expect to have alot of repairs?

I'm not a diablo owner (yet :D ) but i have a friend in germany who has one... Mostly the older ones (early 90s) have lots of problems , but the newer ones , if serviced and kept in good shape shoudln't case many problems... Check the service book , everything is in there... Keep that in mind as f.e clutch replace is a 8-10 k $ thing , but if you can afford a diablo , that shouldn't be a problem for you...

the first service is at right about 1500MI, and that costs usually 5K or so
