hey whats up im rob, a buddy of metalhedskater, he told me to come here and post a thread, i recently just got into dsms and drifting away from the supra world for a while, but im really intrested in getting a 93 gsx for sale, the guy is selling it for 3 grand, its a manual with 112,000 miles on it. not sure if its all stock or any mods, i still have to call and ask questions but i was basicly just wondering if you guys thought it was a decent price for that car, if anyone has any suggestions they are greatly apreciated, thanks

seems like a ok seal to me...go for it..

For 3k you could find a 90-92 with a 6 bolt. The 7 bolt motors are also doing serious whp stock, but the 6 bolt is a little stronger. Either way, I see no problems with going with a 93. Good luck :)

Also from what i can see on the site...the car looks cosmetically okay....Is there anything to check for the car beside the tranny as far as durability goes? Im going with him probably tuesday to check it out....

check the shaft play on the turbo. just take off the intake pipe stick your hand down there and try to shift the turbo wheel (turbine) side to side with your fingers.
