Hi Folks! I have no clue what happend to my G20t after driving it 4 1/2 hours straight going minimum speed of 70-80 mph and sometimes 100mph (just following the traffic flow ;). When I got home it rest for at least 1 hour, then I left again for school, and as I was riding on the highway for 25 min., the emission light went on??? What the heck is the problem now??? Could it be the JWT pop charger that made the light on? Electrical mulfunction? Or, a problem that needed a professional attention? I searched the other forums and some said to check the ECU and try to reset it. Can anyone tell me where is the ECU located and how to reset it. For what i know, resetting the ECU is just unplugging the negative battery wire??? Is this right? PLEASE HELP!!!

emissions light huh, well it could be a number of things that could go wrong. O2 sensors, mass air, also it may be and exuast cat sensor. but what i would do is find someone with a data logger so you can plug in to your OBDII and check the ECU codes. if you cant find that, go out and get yourself a hayes repair manual (everyone should own one anyways) they have all kinds of stuff like all the codes and ways to find out which one it is with out a diagnostic system. as for resetting the ECU, yea just take the neg. off the battery and leave it off for about 10 mins, put it back and off you go. :D
oh and the ECU itself if its a p10 its at the bottom of the front console where the radio and all that stuff is, you can get to it by a pannel down by your feet. i think it may be the same for a p11
