Rattle in Intake Mani at 4000 RPM???

Is anyone one here having problems with their shift rod bushings in the 12v VR6 or 24V VR6 ? This part goes in the variable intake manifold VR6 motors as shown in pics below. Failure is usually common, and indicated by a rattling noise around 4000 rpm as the rod is changing over. VW will be happy to sell you an entirely new shift rod for $$$$ when all that goes bad is the bushings. So, Im fabricating replacement bushing sets, which will be stronger and last longer than the ridiculous OEM VW part. Oh yeah, mine will save you more than 50% over OEM part cost. Think you guys would have some interest?
