will this setup haul ass???

hey guys just wanted to know if im getting ripped off and if this will haul ass ok im getting an engine swap into my 94 civic coupe its a jdm b16a2 with a shaved down head, valves at 5 degree angle type r retainers, skunk 2 valve springs, comp stage 3 cams , the head is port and polished but the guys said he will port it out a lil bit more, the intake manifold is ported an polished as well ummmmmmmmmmm the block has been rebuilt they put in new sleeves and he aslo has the type r rings and bearings ok all of this and a ls hydro trannie and a gsr programed ecu for 2,400 i know its cheap ,the engine building has already begun but i want to know if this guy is right that my car will be running atleast in the 13's thanks for any comments

its a great deal to me. but it also depends on your area. im live in miami and that sounds good to me but do u trust the guy that did all the work. and u also dont want a ls tranny it will only slow u down

Sounds like a good deal to me, if everything's put together well. There is no way in hell you will get 13's though, unless your car's completely gutted and running slicks up front. Expect mid-14's on a good run, but to average high 14's/low 15's before getting used to everything.

agreed. why the heck is this set up with an ls tranny though? its a shame that the head is shaved... if it has really been sleeved it would be a good part of the way to being ready to handle a decent amount of boost. but... higher compression isn't going to help any possible boost situation
