first of all, why the f**K would you want to raise a tiburon for? They are a FWD import sport car. I can understand raising the back of it a bit if it was RWD and you wanted to do a bit of drag with it, but not the whole car, expecialy on a FWD.

Raise a Tib? Dude, step away from the crack pipe. I have an '03 GT V6 and when I drive it, I'm just aware that I'm in a low vehicle and take note of driveways, dips, etc.
Why do you want to raise it anyway?

 I know you can get lowering kits online or at stores that sell Eibach springs and stuff....but I don't know if Eibach makes kits to raise your ride.

Well if it is because of a body kit problem, yah we will be glad to help you out. But if you just want to lift a totaly stock tib, then we are just going to sit back and laf our asses off, or at least I am. Now about the raise kit, I know that Hyundai came out with a hydro one for their HDC-8 concept, "which will be the new tib by 2006." But I dont know if they have any hydro kits in production right now. You might be able to try a 2" raise spring for a truck, "dont know how well thatl work though." And I think that is as far as I can help ya bro!

.. i have a suspension on order that raises and lowers the tib up and down 4 inches each way from the stock height..
the cozy tech suspension..
only thing is that it was made for the 03+ tibs.. and expensive as hell...
it helps with ride height... and acts as coil overs... so itll help with handling

If you planned on turning a tib into a rally car then it wouldn't sound so stupid to want to lift it. The tib has already been proven to be a good platform for a rally car. The only problem now days is that it is FWD and there are so many AWD platforms to pick from. However, a good driver on a cheap budget could do well using the tib as a platform. If you know how to drive, you can do pretty good in a FWD car.

first question, what do you want to do this for?
im surprised nobody said airbag it yet. hydrolics are out of the question as far as im concerned unless you want to compete in those gay hopper contests or whatever they are.
hydrolic units are just to expensive, and you will ALWAYS have fluid squirting somewhere into your car. airbags are cheaper, easier to install, and wont make a mess in your tib. the only advantage of hydrolics is the amount of lifting/lowering you can do. you can put your car right on the ground if you wanted or raise it up a foot off the ground, but do you really need that?
if you want something to raise it so you dont scrape, get airbags.
if you want something for rallying, you will need to get some springs and struts designed specific for it, i dont think any of the REAL coilovers we have for our cars would last long/are designed for rallying.
if you want something for shows, hydrolics.
or you could get those cheap ass sleeve style coilovers on ebay, but i wouldnt reccomend it. your car will ride like shit, and you will wish you never purchased them.

i thought about airbags and that sounds like the best way to go...and once again i am not trying to make this into a hopper just to get over bumps and shit that would scrape up my kit....
any prices or sites to get airbags?

.. i totally forgot about air bags...
is your tib stock height?... im assuming it is?
when goining up an incline and down a decline... youre gonn have to drive at an angle... you wont scrape... or scrape as much.. it helps with ground clearance.. instead of going straight up/ down
same with speed bumps and so on

You can usually get airbags installed at a local shop. Expect to pay anywhere between $500 and $1000, maybe more depending on where you live. I know you can get them done here for about $600.

danieldench...what area are you in?
nisco...yes it is stock height but i got the veilside kit and it cut down my clearance a lot so even at an angle it scrapes
someone suggested as a temporary thing to get bigger springs with the same diameter and that might raise the height at least a couple inches...if anyone has done this please let me know what size springs you used.

dont get longer springs. that will mess shit up. save up, get airbags, or dont do it at all and take the occasional scrape. you will need to get someone to custom make you some, but that is typical with most cars.
all the other ways are just asking for trouble in different areas.
