Fuel pump?

I have an '88 c-1500 truck that I replaced the 4.3 with a 305 out of a Camaro. I am using the 4.3 'puter since the Camaro's would not fire the TBI injectors. This has been running fine, but I decided to replace the plug wires last night. The control module and pickup were new as well as the cap, rotor and plugs. Now it will not run!!
My injectors will not spray even when I jumper them direct. I loosened the fuel line and there is fuel squirting out, but maybe not with enough pressure.
I don't have a pressure gauge. Is it possible that the pressure is low enough that they won't spray?
I ran the darn thing out of fuel last week  . The fuel gauge has evidently decided to not work right anymore! I'm afraid that I fried the pump. And, of course, the tank is full!
