Airraid Throttle body spacer

Has anybody installed a throttle body spacer on a 5.3 L Vortec? If so what kind of performaces gains do you get?

i have heard it helps about as much as a cai but i have just heard

i had it on my old 96' 5.7 and i noticed tiny bit better milage but, and torqy

i have one for sale, new in the box if you're interested.

I want one..how much you asking? If it will fit with my FIPK.

Several years ago I installed a K&N FIPK on my 2001......... found out an Airaid TBS won't work because of clearance issues with the fan blades (stock clutch, not electric) and the air intake tube. Don't know if the design has changed recently or not. Seen where some guys were trimming the fan blades but I decided to wait till I installed an electric fan.

I'm pretty sure the Airaid spacer will work with the stock air box and inlet tube or with an Airaid Intake System............ but double check.

Damn. I sure do want that TBS....

Ive had one on my 99 and now on my 04. Both showed mpg hwy gains. Id say it picked up 5-10horse. Not to mention it sounds really cool.

on K&N s website they say that the coldair intake will NOT fit with an aftermarket TBS. You could make it fit, however, by cutting some of your fan shroud. I would only do that at your own risk though.

My buddy has the CAI and TBS on his '02 Z71, but he's using the factory intake tube also, which..hell, I bought the whole kit, I wanna use the whole kit.
