4g63t

i have decided that i am going to take the shatty 4g94 sohc out of my lancer and drop the 4g63t dohc in. i decided this because looking at a turbocharging kit for other cars seems to be as much or most of the time more than the 4g63t and less hp too. so i am going to lose the 4g94 sohc and get the 4g63t dohc.

Hey you know Iam thinking fo doing the same swap Ive' found the motor on one site if you know of any site selling the motor do tell

I don't know to much about Mit. engins. I figure that it is a turbo motor, but what car is the 4g63t usually found in? And about how much do they run for $$$.

usually?? hhmmm lets see they come in galants, eclipses, talons, lasers,o yea the evo lol. i talked to a guy at rre and he said that it wouldnt bolt straight in.

Did the guy you talked to happen to know what all would be needed to do the swap?

i will not need bigger brakes and i probably wont need a bigger pump the injectors on the 4g63 arent that much bigger

o yea and the guy at rre which was mike said it would not bolt directly in and that it would be cheaper to buy the evo but i think he thought i was asking about changing it to awd too but i dunno

plugged the 4g63t into my lancer. burned the 4g91 12v engine
have some problems with the top engine mount. the turbo engine
came from a dsm. need help with engine mount position though.
car runs great with turbo from a evo3 td05h.:devil:
