its possible, its actually quite possible, however, its gonna be expencive, and i dont know how streetable its going to be. probly very similar characteristics to the old DZ 302 back in the day. nasty, spittin fuel, angry mother on the street, and at the track shed be one helluva high rpm bastard. As for exactly what kind of combination youre lookin at, youll have to wait till i get home and have acess to my desktop dyno to crunch some numbers.

my grandpa has a 383 in a full weight nova that runs 11.3's all day long. It's a four speed car. Dual edelbrocks, tunnel ram, 12.8:1 compression nasty cam. He launches at 7 grand ans shifts at 9k. He put 578 at the wheels so, Im sure 500 out of a 350 is feesable.

500 hp is quite possible. i have a buddy that races a late model dirt track car on friday nights. he has a 350 block bored to a 353ci, dont ask me how they get that number, but there's lots a regulations a maximum engine size. he's just over the 500hp mark. i'll have to ask him, but i think they use 1.7 rockers and obviously a cam to go with it. and i think they use trick flow, or dart heads, and they run like a 30% race fuel, msd ignition and make that horsepower with beleive it or not a 390 cfm carb! but these motors run anywhere from 6-9000 rpm all night, and the high rpm is probly how they make there power.

yeah, 500 hp out a sb 350 is definitley possible, but nitrous would definitly get you there easyier
