1993 dodge shadow gas gauge

I have a 1993 dodge shadow 2.2L non turbo and the gas gauge never seems to be accurate. It never reads completely full and also the needle can be as far as it can go on e and still have alot in the tank is there anything i can do to fix this? preferably cheap

I had the same problem with my '94.. mine was the guage, replaced it and it worked just fine

i dont think ure problem is the gauge itself,,,could be wrong but its probably more like the fuel pump...check the gauge if u want,,its easier to check anyways,,,but if that dont work get a new fuel pump

not hte fuel pump.. hte fule flaot that is what tells the guauge waht is in hte tank
