hood bump stops

When I travel at highway speeds, the hood jiggles and squeaks because my bump stops have lost their thread and don't stay properly adjusted. The Ft. Myers dealership is no longer. I called St. Charles Isuzu and they said they could send me these 2 little parts. They took my MC# and address. Made me happy. Two weeks later it's obvious that it's not worth their time. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem with my bump stops. My solution: Superglue a rubber washer of the appropriate thickness to the bottom of the bump stop or to the top of the grill where the bump stop makes contact. This will allow the bump stop to rest flush like it originally did eliminating that annoying hood squeak. You may have to experiment with different size rubber washers before you finally glue it into place. I chose a black rubber washer to match the bump stop.

Hope this helps.

That does help. I'll try it if I can't get the OEM bump stop.
