does anyone have words to say on experiencing your own death, but continuing to live?

when you die, you die. there is no continuing to live.
to paraphrase kierkegard(sp?)
we experience despair at the fact, however, that our mind is eternal, yet limited by our physical and dying body. our mind is incapable of fathoming a state where it doesnt exist. yet it knows it will cease to exist at some point.

Amen to the last post. I too know where im going
Ive came close to death, but my time wasnt up, wrecked into some trees (about 8) doign 80 mph, should have been killed instantly.
5 days later a guy wrecked into one phone poll doing just under 50 mph, kill instantly, his truck wasnt even that bady damaged.
I dont believe peoples storys about being dead and seeing the light then coming back to life in the hospital, if youve ever noticed, when youre on an operating table you do have a light shining prety much right into your eyes, thats where people see those "bright lights of heaven" and when they think people are saying stuff too them about it being time, trust me when youre hopped up on something in the hospital you can think/believe you heard something or some one say something that they didnt.

That "light" people see are electrical impulses screaming around in your brain that make you see that.

Do you have an experience before life? No? Then why would you have an experience after life?
