now while the progress of my enzo has been in a standstill for quite some time, i wanted to start something new (its on hold cause i need paint). At first it was supposed to be the drift super duper deluxe something drifter from aoshima but i screwed up a decal and i said to myself, "Realize that the decal wont straighten out" so i said f**k it and made it into a street car instead. so here is some progress i made, im customising the frontbumper a bit, thats all the customising, probably a drift style exhaust pipe, but that'd be later (the aoshima one looks cheap and nasty).
The front bumper before surgery

after surgery (the aoshima plastic was very fragile, this operation took me a fraction of 30 seconds.)

The body, hood and bumper.
I needed to fill the center of the hood cause the holes look ugly and when i removed the hood, wich was a bad idea, but ill probably give it CF anyway nevermind. when i carved away the hood from the rest of the body, the space between the hood and the body got a bit too wide, so i puttied the sides. and the putty isnt snot :grinno: its "Green stuff" from Games Workshop and i must say it really works wonders. nuff babblin, heres the pic
http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/217070P1010175-med.JPG
i havent figured what color, guidance would be very nice. im off to stockholm next monday with school, so ill "get lost" :icon16: and go to the hobbystore that sells tamiya paint.
offtopic :cwm27: just want to brag about my pc a bit :cwm27:

I don't know if I should tell you, because then I will feel like a copycat the day I use it myself :grinyes: Anyway, I saw the TS-56 brilliant orange the other day at Hobbybiten (http://www.hobbybiten.se) and it looked fantastic, maybe it's the one I'll use instead of all this nailpolish fiddling I've been up to? Nice project, your getting better by the day. It's fun to see that there is some rejuvenation in the hobby. I might as well tempt you to, get to Stockholm and join IPMS-Open! I think it will take place the first weekend In April!? But as soon as I know I'll let you guys know.

Remember the 2F2F-supra? That's pretty much an orange street machine to me! Who ever said that one colour is for this or that car but not the one over there? Go with the colour you like, don't bother what other people says about it.

The undercarriage got finished a couple of minutes ago.
I got very happy when i got to build this, since i got so dissapointed with the RX-8 this was almost like a blessing (; so what we got there is: Drift style exhaustpipe, purple calipers :D shitload of silver paint and satisfaction!

Bummer...now i gotta think of another colour to paint my FD. Looks good tho. Maybe paint the centres of the wheels a dull gold like the actual Apexi RX-7, and it should look very sweet. And from what i can just see of the exhaust, it looks good.

My apologies to the not swedish talking AF'ers, this is only a discussion about where in Stockholm to get paint and modeling supplies.

Some of you might think ive laid down this project... but i haven't :D i have been struggling with the front end and hood ever since the first mods. This is the reason for all this struggle. First i wanted to do the drifter, so i cut out the hood, cause its easier (at least for me) to cover the hood in CF-Decal so the first i did was to cut out the hood, and a bit later, i screwed up on the _FIRST_ F**KING DECAL! that pisses me off so bad. well thats the reason, tho the front end is done, and it turned out pretty good :) so all i have to do now is to sand, putty and fix the hood then ill paint it. thats all folks.. seeya later.
