been in the army got mates in the SAS in Iraq. didn't serve with you, and to be honest would be ashemed to. what's not funny is that there are people like you out there. whats easy to understand... the fact that while there are marines like you the marines get a bad name and so does america. be proud of yourself.
you still haven't told me if you were in vietnam or posted on the korean border. perhaps you had trouble reading the question like you had trouble reading that i was talking about YOU signing up...not me.

The reality is you take prisoners IF YOU CAN. If you do not have men or time to spare, you just don't leave them to shoot the next man in the back. My only regret to this story is that the ranking Marine in that room did not have the experience or foresight to make sure that tape didn't leave the room. I bet it won't happen next time. That marine is worth a hundred reporters any day, at least to me..
who needs reporters when you can have blind death huh rocky?
and why should you worry about the truth or being responsible for your actions when you can kill whoever you want. hey i have an idea lets kill all the media (we can bomb them, or just shoot them with helicopters and tanks and stuff) then nobody will know what sort of things we get up to. we could kill as many Iraqi's as we want, then we could put them in mass graves and say it was Sadam! EXCELLENT!
you say i'm talking from a know nothing perspective, when you falsely assume i hadn't been in the military at all. And you actually expect people to value what you say when you repeatedly demonstrate your neanderthal stupidity. do you take a club when you go out to meet women?

Man, stop being such a hysterical sissy. The Marines do a job that no-one else does, and that no-one else can do. That's why they go in first, bear the brunt of the fighting, then the Brits or US Army come in and take over. Different jobs entirely.

as far as marines go, i think their rules of engagement would have something about shooting unarmed wounded people. I was always taught that going against rules of engagement like that would have me on a murder charge.... but i guess americans are immune to that sort of thing.
No, the Marine Corps rules of engagement only require threat. This "wounded and unarmed" individual could have been a serious threat to the men in that room. I am at least willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. You, however, wish to label him as a murderer based upon the words of a reporter and a grainy tape that didn't even show the "victim" moving.

And I fought in combat ops with the 2nd Marine Division (2/5) from 1987 to 1992. I received 2 purple hearts, Presidential and Navy commendations and lots of other chestware. I trained members of the SEALS, SAS, BRM, and Metsada in NBC warfare and as someone who has been on the receiving end of an enemy's bullet I'm sure you have NO idea what he was thinking. Your armchair warrior opinion is of little consequence...

So after the marines stormed the mosque on friday and already tagged the people inside of it, treated them and left them there, that when another group of marines entered the same mosque finding the same treated victims the next day....that he could have been a possible threat? Sure its possible, no one is ruling that out...but you forget the other part where the people inside were of no threat and in dying need of help.
The thing here is that we have to see if this was caused out of war stress or any other side affects caused by the warzone or if this is just another act of a soldiers delinquency.

What was caused by "war stress?" Did something really happen, or are you hoping it did?
