optima battery problems

ok couple a weeks ago i accidently grounded my batterey out and now it dies alot if i dont start it every day.like even if i let the car run an hour 2 days later it will die when i start it......so did i probaLLY RUIN MY BATTERY?

Sounds like it... did you check your fluid levels? because if your low on water it will not hold a charge... make sure you use distilled water too.

Where did u get get? You could take it back and tell them that it wont hold a charge anymore.

it came with the car and has been acting up every since i accidently touched the strut bar with the ratchet while trying to take off the power cable

Buy one somewhere and return it a few days latter saying that it wont hold a charge get ur money back take back the bum batterie. It ususaly works.
