My 2000 GTP needs a S/C belt tensioner.
I work at CarQuest but I cant find one available anywhere except the dealer.
That really blows because I get a huge discount on things we sell.
Anybody have any input here, maybe a company other than dayco.
It costs me like $70 from the dealer but it would probably only be 25 aftermarket.
I called the dayco tech services line and they said they looked into making it but costs would outweigh profits.
Apparently there are no supercharged 3.8 series II motors out there.

I see that you work at carquest. I work for Advance Auto Parts, try a dayco part No. 89288. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Hi,
I just want to let you know of a website that sells OEM parts at wholesale prices. WWW.GM-CAR-PARTS.COM. There is an online catalog available for you to use free to look up parts and check prices 24-7. Compare prices with your local dealer. You will see that the website sells the same parts a lot cheaper. All parts are Genuine GM And AC Delco parts. Pay by credit card or paypal and have them shipped right to your door. Free ground shipping available for orders over $300*.

Thanks for the help guys.
I ordred it from the dealer.
the GM part # is 12564548.
That dayco number 89288 looks similar to the accesory tensioner (the actual one is 89302).
Thanks again guys
